The election of Barack Hussein Obama, to the most influential seat of government in the world, was without a doubt a stellar moment for the whole planet. It signaled the beginnings of a revolutionary shift in mass consciousness: from, the love of power, to the power of love.
Decisions based on what is best for the greater good and for the planet will have a huge say in the future we are now creating. Imagine radical conservation policies, investments supporting new green technologies, an end to war and its obscenities, truth in politics, and imagine even more good things. It is all coming, as long as we are all ready to help make it happen. We have been held down, and treated like children for thousands of years, and now we get to step up to the plate and throw our light around. This is the portal that just opened, and we have been waiting a long time for this, whether we were conscious of it or not, thus the wellspring of hope that is in the air.
I dreamt about Obama recently and he was standing on a hill. I was wondering how he was going to manage all the expectations and as I approached he smiled and held up a mirror. Symbolically I think it represents the end of the illusion of separation, that power hierarchies create. By seeing myself 'reflected' in him, we became one. In other words each of us is the change we seek. Symbolically, there is someone uncorrupted and part of our circle, supporting the change we seek. In that regard it's not about Us politics but about how the world can change, because of their influence.
I think I first started to cry when I saw reverend Jessie Jackson cry. No doubt a few million of us did at that same moment, and we could all hear another familiar face saying "I have a dream". The US Declaration of Independence began with 'We the People', but at the time the Red people were being wiped out, the black people were in chains as slaves and the yellow people would barely survive building the railways. When Barack Obama said "this a was a victory made possible by the people and for the people" it was real for the first time in that countries democratic history.
As you know, I am very interested in the prophecies of change that have been heralded for these times by mystic seers of many cultures so this morning decided to check out how this is all panning out according to the stars and prophesies. The first thing was to check out Barak Obama's birthday using the Mayan calendar. Low and behold he was born on a 'portal' day as a 'Red Self-Exisiting Skywalker'. So, according to the Mayan calendar he is an angelic messanger or bodhisattva who inspires others to live in the light and to bring the world of heaven to earth and live the new myth. I kid you not. He also very intuitive, forgiving, and bridging. His name, Barack, in Swahili means 'blessed ' or blessings from god'. Sounds pretty good to me. According to the Mayan cosmology Barack Obama will be sworn in during the '6th day', which in the present calendar cycle lasts a year. This is the time of The Flowering. As the name describes, we have entered a time of accelerated growth and a blossoming renaissance.
Astrologically, as many of you know, Saturn is in Virgo (healthy structures - eg government) and Uranus in Pisces (shifting of awareness) are in a dance while Pluto is moving into Capricorn bringing with it the falling away of the old and the rebirth of the new. We can see by the stock market the falling away, but notice also that this all part of the transformation of the world into a higher consciousness. It is not healthy or necessary to be immobilized by the economy, besides, fear cuts you off from your potential. Instead, knowing that this is the change the world needs now, view the new possibilities. For example, investing in smaller companies that are part of the new world, supporting new eco-technologies, or invent the iCar yourself. The energy now is of creating and growing into a new world, not staring into the flames of the old one. Ride the momentum sent by the heavens in support of the change.
This holiday it is a wonderful time to celebrate the birth of this new world, and allow yourself the quite time to imagine how you are a part of the change.
