July 2004
During the early hours of June 8 when Venus was transiting the Sun, I was in meditation with others chanting a Tibetan prayer when the world opened up a crack, and I drank in the nectar of the cosmological events in the heavens.
My heart began to glow from within and began expanding. As I shifted my attention to the people near me, particularly their hearts, my own heart grew exponentially, sending more waves of warmth into the hearts of others in the room. I became a vessel for this energy, which itself seemed to consciously seek out more hearts with which to share itself. The intensity shifted after a few minutes, as the crack into the cosmos closed before I was unintentionally consumed. The glow inside me now feels like a gift of love (Venus) and wisdom (Sun) sent out to us from the heavens to be shared with the world.
A number of you sent e-mails in response to last months column, curious about what the changes might look like and what our role is in all of this. I did a little research to see what the older texts and prophecies had to say.
To re-cap, we are most likely in the last eight years of the world as we have known it, meaning a world based on meeting our physical needs, survival of the fittest, fear-based social communities, and greed driven economies. In some versions like the Armageddon story, these are the end times and there will be judgment about our behaviour.
In other versions, such as the Mayan and Buddhist, we are given an opportunity to participate in the marriage of the male and female energies wisdom and love, as balance and harmony, truth and trust are restored in the world and we consciously move forward into a new consciousness.
Some versions suggest we might fail if we don’t speak from our hearts, the result being another cleansing (as the flood of Noah was a cleansing of perhaps an Atlantean civilization that was too arrogant and destructive).
In other North and South American native prophecies we are moving into the next world (most describe it as the 5th world) no matter what. The question is how we cross into the next world, as it will dictate how successful and enlightened the next world will be. There is a lot of agreement that a shift is taking place, but what it will look like varies quite a bit.
The good news, according to the psychics and shamans, is that we will understand authentic love and living our wisdom in a very fundamental way. This is how the marriage of the divine male and female (physically expressed in the eclipse) will manifest within ourselves. We will notice that anything out of harmony with our lives will fall away and we will in turn be inspired to pursue dreams we have been afraid to actualize as connecting to higher energies becomes easier. Our intuitive awareness and psychic abilities will be enhanced. So much so that we may find ourselves communicating with each other psychically as quickly as we do now on the Internet. That ought to be fun (I think).
Many suggest we clear ourselves of any emotional entanglements and avoid any calls to return to past relationships. Should we repeat that. Avoid any calls to past relationships, as this is all about new energy. You can replace past definitions if the next definitions are truly new. There is no comfort zone being offered here as it is important that we become our authentic selves. There is no turning back.
Our negative self doubts, our fears and old patterns of relationship need to be released to bring this higher integration of energies into the world. Really there is no choice but to be in our hearts, living authentically and looking forward into the new world that is being created.
Meanwhile this summer I have begun practising my clairvoyance by taking the time to note when I “feel” something, “hear” a message, “see” visions or “know” something. Each of us tends to be better at one or two of those senses.
Drawing attention to how your intuition works makes you more conscious of when you are getting information and helps to work those “psychic” muscles. For example, for me sitting with a piece of paper and asking a question, then writing what comes is lots of fun, and seems to be a great exercise for building confidence and trust in my own “senses.” If the cosmic energies are going to enhance our abilities, why not start exercising them!
If you don’t feel the clarion call, i.e. that we are here for the Earth changes, but you are sympathetic to the cause then just close your eyes and imagine there is a call from the ancients to move into your heart, be wise and larger than life, and interact with the world as though everyone in the world is also wanting to move into their hearts and live authentically with you. It’s a great way to live!

I want us to stay focused on the environment, but instead of feeling fear, imagine holding an image of us all living respectfully with each other, sharing in the Earth's abundance.

Saturn is very realistic, and if we have been ignoring one thing in order that everything else will run better, Saturn will ask us to look at that ‘one thing’ and address it.
November 2007
Use your imagination to visualize yourself, your home, your country, the planet filled with beautiful light and hold the image as long as possible.

People would move closer to me as I spoke and share their own dance with the shadows. Sharing our vulnerability felt important and natural.

We all have something we would fight for and something we believe in, which in a simple sense is where the warrior and the dreamer in each of us meet.

We have probably just forgotten how to talk to clouds, and there’s no reason not to start now.

If the predictions are true, we could lose our small family farms within a generation, and with them lose our right to access organic, unprocessed, healthy foods.
April 2007
Cleansing our body of toxins should be a natural part of our lifestyle, not something we do because we’re ill.
February 2007
I work on visualizing an exciting future, where everyone realizes how much financial success can go along with environmental accountability.

In fact, most of the words on the pages were themselves keys to unlock my own remembering that there is no separation from the divine.
